This new Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Neon Sign is an awesome display piece for the Pontiac Trans Am collector or enthusiast. It's an impressive size measuring 48” round. The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile built and produced by Pontiac from the 1967 to 2002 model years. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang, it was introduced on February 23, 1967 which was five months after GM's Chevrolet division's platform sharing Camaro. The second generation Firebird was from 1970 to 1981. The 1977 Trans Am Y82 Special Edition gained significant fame after its film debut in Smokey and the Bandit, leading to a drastic increase in sales of the Pontiac Firebird in the following years and its current day collectability. The black and gold Trans Am along with actor Burt Reynolds are iconic. This Pontiac Trans Am Neon Sign was completed in 2024 and is unused. It was designed with the well-recognized Pontiac Eagle in the colors of black and gold. When the sign is on, the neon highlights the colors on the fascia which include white, red and gold. The sign has an aluminum base with wall mounting brackets. The sign is wired for 120-volt circuitry and has one power switch. The sign also includes a wood shipping pallet. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased this sign in November of 2024. February of 2025 is the first time it's been listed for sale. The dimensions are listed below. Believed to be a one-of-a-kind or limited production item.
