Cool car in great color combo...need to look close at body and potential rust issues, but certainly worth a peek.
The ad has a comment section discussing the 330hp rating, claiming it was like an L-34 motor, NO!
The LS-3 was the 402 version of the L-35 396. Low lift cam and nodular iron crankshaft. I'm sure the carb. and distributor timing were likely different as well.
Worked on a lot of Montes at the Chevron station in high school...those fan shrouds were the size of 30 gallon oil barrels

Chevy's Grand Prix! Can you imagine if they offered the LS6 in the Monte.?

Any 4spd Monte is a rare one!
I had an L48/M20 '70 Monte several years ago. Black, black vinyl top, Saddle interior. Buckets, console, tach, 3.31 open rear. Fremont car with a build sheet on top of the gas tank. Would have been a neat car restored. It was a project car that someone had parted out before I got it... sold it to someone in South Dakota planning to restore, no idea if it was ever finished.
