I like that car, leave it alone or restore? I'd leave it alone and put headers on it.

Agree. Cool that it is in as seen config. Again it would be Hard to resist restoration, but more preserve and enjoy. 302 would be a must?

The car is very cool. I hope it finds a good home. I would like to sell my Yenko '67 Z but BaT seems like a pain and I don't relish dealing with the peanut gallery comments.

Add 302 engine emblems on the front fenders. A must IMO, drop in a 67 302 engine with headers. They are out there to buy. If not build a 67 302 clone. Keep Cragar wheels and add new wide tires. Clean and detail car and drive it. Enjoy the power and have fun.

Build up a clone 302 as been said and put on a moon manifold with down draft webers.

The trunk floor is seriously rusted out from the back window rusting out and allowing rain in for years, as it appears it sat outside under a tattered tarp for a long time. Replacing the trunk floor would be a must before putting much power to the rear wheels, in my world.

Look closely at the pics and ignore all the flat black fluff paint and you'll see the rust holes I am seeing.

The cabin floor looks great inside, no way to tell underneath with the spray bomb, hide the rust, paint job.
It IS a cool car and worthy of, at least, a thorough preservation of the exterior, or deal with the rust in the quarter panels, extension panel and trunk floor and give it a good paint job.

“Add 302 emblems”? That’s terrible advice. The coolest thing about a ‘67 Z28 is its’ lack of Z28 or 302 badging because the performance did the talking. When all the badging was factory added in 1968 & thereafter they became more of an image car despite the same drivetrain. The understated rawness of the 1st year Z’s is their appeal!

In late ‘67 the Z/28 received the 302 fender badges along with early 68 Z/28’s. So early 67 Z/28’s had no front badges.

Further investigation apparently the late 67Z-28 built cars received the front fender 302 badges. Depends on the build of the 67z. Terrible advice?

Agree, the trunk floor looks worse than the one in my L78 that lived outside in Canada most of its life. Cool car though!

I have also never seen a 302 emblem factory installed on a 67. Can you point to a source?

"In late '67" is referring to the calendar year, not the model year. No '67 Zs had 302 emblems on them from the factory. The first '68 Zs built late in the '67 calendar year got 302 emblems and in mid-March '68, the 302 emblems got replaced with Z/28 emblems.
