There is no mention of orig. drivetrain.
I emailed the seller this morning. Still waiting for an answer. If someone is selling a special car that’s the first thing that should be advertised, that the drivetrain is the born with mechanicals.Seeing that was not mentioned raised everyone’s suspicions.

I emailed the seller again and said I’d buy if it was original drivetrain.of course he immediately replied.he said this is the way the car was when I bought it. I just restored it. It does have a Muncie and should have a factory t10 so I know the Muncie is different.i can try and get some pictures off the engine. I do not know much about the engine. Sure you don’t. The car was thoroughly restored. Every nut and bolt was restored. All parts were nos. Oh,and I didn’t look at the engine codes when I restored it.trying to get an extra 20,000-30,000 advertising the car as a 409-425 which it may be but not original drivetrain.

It does have a Muncie and should have a factory t10 so I know the Muncie is different.
With a broadcast date of April 25 on the broadcast sheet, a Muncie would be correct. They started producing Muncie's in February of 1963. My 63 SS has its original Muncie (with VIN stamp) dated the very first day of Muncie production.
Funny story - when I took the car apart to start restoring it many years ago, I didn't know the above info so I assumed the Muncie was not original. So I found and bought a 63 T10 with all the linkage, shifter, belhhousing, etc. etc. Then a guy needed a 4-spd so I told him I had a Muncie to sell. He came over and we drug it out to look at it. I wiped the grease off for the first time and saw a VIN stamp. I thought, man that number sounds familiar. Went and looked at the VIN tag and voila, it matched! So the other guy went home with a T10!

Thanks jeff. Didn’t know the Muncie could be the original. If he thoroughly restored it he would have seen the vin.
