I'm a big fan of FLUID FILM.................and Fluid Film now comes in a Black Formula also

Just remembered Rick Nelson turned me onto a Cosmoline Product that coms
in Aeresol.........(if you'd search for it)

What are you protecting? Something that the factory left bare metal or something that's waiting for a finish? I wouldn't put anything that's going to receive paint later on, but bare metal that'll remain bare metal, I rub something like fluid film or a light viscosity oil, than boeshield and done.

I have used rust prevention magic. You warm the part up and this goes on like a wax. I have had it near something like headers and it seems to warm it up and melts back out of what I treated. I have a product from Birchwood technologies called dri touch amber. It was in a gallon can and I brushed it on. I have not used it much but seemed to work. I didnt like the idea of products that didnt dry and attacted dust and these seemed dry.
I have a spray can of boeshield but not tried it. Will it dry or remain sticky?
