I assume that this is the one your talking about:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=385348780&r=0&t=0
It says that it needs a full restoration and that it's without engine or tranny...so I'm assuming that it's pretty rough. He claims that it's documented though...kind of interested to see what comes of this one.

I asked to see some pictures and copies or scans of his documentation, but never heard back. Tough to bid on a car you can't see.

I emailed him some questions about the Motion modifications and told him I was interested in the car but I recieved no reply.

Seller just sent me a few pictures. Hard to tell condition, but doesn't look bad. He also sent a picture of the letter from Joel Rosen. Can't be more than a handful of these cars around.

I have just heard from the owner that this car has NOT been sold yet. He is working on a deal, but no $$'s have been exchanged. He told me Joel confirmed it was a Phase III car w/a 427. Lucky guy bought the car as an SS396 w/no motor or trans out of the local newspaper and later discovered it was a B/M.

I looked at this 69 Motion Chevelle and was surprised to learn it was registered in my home town according to a 1987 CT. registration found in the car. I am trying to dig up some more history on it. Joel just gave him a short letter for $1500.00 but it increased the value of the car by about 50K. Thats better then some internet IPO's!
