No problem with me! I will have my 1975 Cordoba Road Runner with a 8 to 1 compression 400 in it. Hey the 72 and later cars run just as good as the earlier high compression cars right? At least thats true with the Buicks http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/laugh.gif I'm just havin some fun, so none of you Flintstones go and get mad! http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/laugh.gif

Does it have the original Rich Corinthian leather and an autographed picture of Ricardo Montalban in the Glovebox?

Is it just me ,or are those "polys" great tires? They not only look good but are capable of giving some great traction if inflated correctly.

Good traction is an understatement!! For a "stock" musclecar to run a 12.47 you would need to pull a .90 60 ft. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/laugh.gif

Now what combo is this again ????

And if any of you Chevy jokers says it's a *STOCK* 350/360 horse Nova, I'm gonna tell ya all to pony up to the bar. If I get accused of runnin' a stroker motor that is a full SECOND plus slower, then that motor must look an awful lot like a "B" Mopar engine ..... 383 comes to mind ...... <JK> :)

I see Casey finally got back from mothers day supper. The combo were discussing is James' 69 SS car. You know the one. The one with the illegal, bogus, cheatin'...pick a word you like...heads.(sorry James, could'nt resist) http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/laugh.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/laugh.gif He did pick up a nos set of the correct heads and will be at certified stock! It will be interesting to see how much difference the heads make on the dyno and track. So relax Stroker Boy. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

I would like to attend, and will if the car is together, but I won't know probably until the last minute (pretty much how everything goes!).

Pete; PLEASE fill us in with all the details whenever JJ's engine gets back! What was his best time with the old combo?

We're still on for the cookout at the FS race, So whomever wants to join in just bring a pack of dogs or chips and we should put on a pretty decent spread!Mike

What little meat is on them is probably tuff and tastless! You know he spends all his money on DYNO TIME instead of chicken feed!
