I flew down Saturday morning.....Charley L had no less than SIX of his cars there making a teriffic showing. He had the two pro-touring cars, 69'Yellow Berger ZL-1, 69' Z-28 with "Smokey Yunick" Porcepine engine complete with cross-ram, along with two others. I enjoyed meeting Charley and hearing some of the misc details about his excellent cars. Also at the show was Jim Hughes(NWYenko) and his wife LaDonna showing there very nice 69 Blue Yenko Camaro. There were many other nice Camaros in attendance however IMHO there could have been MORE. As this was also a CCI event there were many tri-five Chevy's and a variety of other early 60 Chevy's.......thanks, Chuck/CamarosRus

You met Charley? Then are the Rumors True? Does he really only have one tooth? If so,then how can he chew his food? Any pictures?

Just returned from the event. There were 40 or so Camaros, 120 55-57 Chevs and about 40 other 58 and later Chevs. A nice event made nicer by Charley showing up with his stable. I was standing in the show area on Fri evening and heard a rumble coming in the distance and told my wife that it must be Charley and just then looked up to see the Red Witch and the Thrasher come around the corner, pretty impressive!!! (Only to be overshadowed by Charleys big gold tooth smile!!) Met a bunch of the Ca. camaro guys from the other site, really a great group. Charley sure worked poor old Fred, making him load and unload all those cars. I told Fred I would just put them in the trailer and set the emergency brakes and not waste all that time tying them down.

Charley I hope you observed all the local speed limits when you visited."Rent-a-Family" doesn't take kindly to their rental families going to jail for going 110 mph over the posted limit.
