Check out the pictures on this link. http://www.autoprojects.com/chickencoop.html The cars were only about 20 minutes from my home and I went out to see them yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't hear about them for about 3 weeks and the really good ones were gone before I saw them. I heard a '71 cuda conv. w/340-6 pack in fair condition went for $2,000. It was pretty neat to see all the cars.

Gives a whole new meaning to "I found it in a barn".

I've got dibs on the Hudson, Nash and Edsel.

Yes, but Pete's coop will be full of Canadian COPO's!!

Charlie;
What was that black funny looking car with the 4 exhaust pipes, and slant nose? In the one photo, there was a guy standing behind it with his hand resting on it. According to the latest pics, there isn't much left there. What happened to the '70+ red Camaro?

Marlin, I'm not sure about the black car as it was gone before I saw them. The red 73 camaro was hit in the front, had typical camaro rust and best used as a parts car. It was not a Z-28, but did have the gauge package. Wish I had heard about them a few weeks sooner, I would have at least bought the cuda conv. If you're into caddy conv's. there are still a bunch of them.

I sent your link to a buddy of mine earlier today, and we just talked on the phone - - he was REALLY interested in it. Any guess on $$$ for that one ? His brother lives in Northern GA, and it would be pretty straightforward to get........

Amazing! At least some of the cars will be going to a "good home". Does anybody have info about the owner?

Perhaps 35-40 miles NW of Lawrenceville.

I need a better picture of that black car, but it looks a lot like a Lamborghini Espada.

Ok, now that I have found the second set of pictures, definitely an Espada.

I'm pretty sure that Caddy with multiple carburation was a Tri-Power. How about the 59 convertible!

Casey, as far as pricing goes for most cars they are using the "Old Cars Pricing Guide" condition #5 and #6. I picked up a copy at Barnes and Noble. I found the pricing guide was considerably below market on Yenko Camaros, ZL-1's and other muscle cars. As an example they have a #1 condition (perfectly restored non-driven show car) valued at $49,000. Bet virtually everyone on this board would buy 10 at that price!

Tx for the update COPO. Interestingly enough, my same buddy was looking BACK through the pix and saw a '60 Starliner in the background of the pic of the yellow '69 Road Runner. He sent off an email about that one .......

Who ownes all these cars? How did they all end up there. Anybody have the scoop?

The cars were aquired over the last 30 years by a gentleman that recently passed away. He also owned a restoration business in the Atlanta area and leased the abandoned chicken coops for years. Unfortunately the coops had severly leaking roof, and dirt floors resulting in the further degradation of the cars with most reduced to parts cars, however, there were also a number of decent project cars. Most of the cars were well worn or were wrecks prior to his aquisition of the cars. The surviving family is now selling the cars. If you're into muscle cars, there's virtually nothing left.
