How many original owners of Super Cars still own their Super Cars today, and who are they?

Three of us bought COPO Chevelles through Beare Motors in Port Perry, Ontario. John and I still have our cars. I managed to keep my original drive train in tact. Might even have it on the road in another year.

This could be a disturbing post for some of those "used to be " original owners. When I was a kid, we had two workers that worked here for years. They saved there money and went out on the same day and bought a 1970 442 Cutlas convertable, and a 1969 440 Daytona. The one still has the rag top but the other in about'75 traded the Daytona on a Pinto http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/shocked.gif , and yes, he had to pay difference!!! He just about has a stroke every time we talk about it.

Kevin DeWitt (Arizona now, Minnesota prior) once again owns the white Berger COPO he bought new. As I remember, the car was in Milton Robson or Carl Dwiggins' collection for a while before Kevin was able to buy it back.
Pintos were hot during the gas crisis. I have an uncle who traded his original M-code 1969 440 Dart GTS (one of 600 or so) for a Pinto in '73/74. I think the Pinto was used, so he was able to trade straight up - lucky guy.

Does Barnhart's ZL1 still have the original drivetrain?
