If anyone has questions about the authenticity of yenko camaros that are for sale that are of interest to you I have the serial numbers of all of the yenko camaros. This is to help those that have doubts about a car they may be looking at. This is the sheet of serial #'s from the yenko dealership not just a typical numbers sheet.

Might as well set up a page here on the site for it like the list of ZL1's. See if the admins would like someone to do that.
Add me to the list,I would like a copy also. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

This document was given to me by a former employee and friend of Don Yenko with the stipulation that it is not to be distributed to the general public. Although if you are thinking of purchasing a car I would be more than glad to help. This document is just for 69's.

If the list can't be made public, can you at least give the number of cars, by model, that were made?
Has anyone seen yenko bart's so called list?
Does anyone even know who this yenko bart is?
I emailed yenko bart about two weeks on a different topic and he never even responded. No matter how busy I am I always respond to people's emails as a common courtesy.

The reason for the failure to return your e-mail is that I have not been able to recieve e-mail for about a month.Don't know why,I don't know much about computers. As for the list I was just trying to save people from getting ripped off.It seems some people do not appreciate this so I will no longer waste my time trying to help.

Why give Yenko Bart so much flak. He said he would help. He never said he would give copy's of the numbers out. This site has always been willing to help out on Yenko VIN's and information. It seems a bit harsh to welcome a new member in this fashion. Why all the sour grapes? This topic raises it's head every couple of months and people get upset. At least there is a forum for this type of information. You could go to someone else and pay for the info. If I recall the alternative is to pay the man, yes or no...BKH

Yenko Bart,
I have a copy of a list. It is divided in two sections. The top shows "Documented" Yenko Camaro vins. The Bottom header says
"Berger and L-72" and provides vins for "Documented COPOS" This list is circa 1983.
It has no author and I have seen similar copies, but no one has been able to tell me the author?
Is this the same info you have?

I was the author of that partial VIN list. It had been included in earlier versions of my COPO Connection book. I have most Yenko VINS, and do not charge to let you know if you have a COPO from my database.

Thanks Ed,
What year was your 'COPO Connection' book first published?
I was curious if this is the same data base which Yenko Bart is referring to, or if he had the same inventory
floor plan sheets Vince was using or if it was a copy of some of Don Yenko's personal Documents.
Yenko Chevrolet,Inc and Yenko Sports Cars, Inc.
were distinct and seperate entities. I would think that by now someone has already tried to get the corporate minutes , quarterly or annual reports for this Corporation.
There are a few lists going around. Is that the list that shows one COPO Camaro built in LA?

I was trying to determine if I knew what a COPO was back in 1982, but I do remember banging gears in my red 1969 Z-28 street racer.
Ed, Do you still have copies of this COPO Connection Book for sale? How can I acquire one of these books that contain this partial VIN list? Thanks!

I still sell the book through my web site for $22.00 (No VIN List). I will be listing the VIN's for known COPO cars as time permits on the site.
