Finally pulled out some ralley wheels that are off a 1970 chevelle and wanted to restore them. The problem is that the lug nut holes seem to be rounded out. Is their anyone out there that knows of a reputable service that can restore these rims lug nut holes? I hate to throw out some original rims because of some wrong lung nuts.

A reputable machine shop can probably weld up the holes and redrill them/bevel the edges etc. I would send them to Stockton Wheel in CA. They repair all types of wheels including aluminum etc. <A HREF="http://www.stocktonwheel.com

Chevelle/ Monte Carlo Rally Wheels 15"x7" are not a rare item and fairly common. Before you spend a lot of time and $$$$ (shipping ,labor
ect.) try and see if you can pick up a good used original. Just my opinion.

Are the 14x7's worth any more or about the same?

It's an SS ralley wheel with stampings. I really don't want to get rid of the wheels if they are salvagable. Anyone else out there drop a reply as I'm all ears.

Jim, Stefano makes a good point. Unless they are date coded for your car I would probably find another set that is in better shape. By the time you have them repaired and restored you can probably find a better set for half the price. The repro 69 SS wheel looks good and would be the way to go if that is the style you desire....................RatPack................

Are these the the 14X7 magnum wheels used on 1969-70 Chevrolet Super Sports?
If so there is an alternative, albeit a quick fix of sorts.
They have reproduced the acorn lugnuts for these rims, but with a much wider seat area. They look similar to the stock acorn lugnuts used originally.
The new nuts have a seat area so much larger.that they can fill in and seat the widened lug holes. This is noticeable when you come up close to the new lugnut.
Lisbon Chevelle parts, formerly Ted Williams, had boxes of these new design lug nuts for sale at SuperChevy Indy last July. They were designed for this problem you have now.

Thank you gentleman a quick fix is what I was looking for. The wider lugnut sounds like the answer to my problem.
