Z-16 chevelles...SuperCars?

Are the 1965 Z-16 chevelles considered "SuperCars"? Does anyone have the list of vin numbers on these limited production cars? Are there any 1964 Z-16 chevelles? Thanks in advance for any input.

I just read an article on these very unique cars and I'd say they are at least the very first chevy musclecar. Since they were never intended for the public I'd vote yes to Supercar. The article never mentioned a list of vins but it did say that all the cars were given to specific people picked by chevrolet.

If my memory serves me, I think Chevrolet gave the first one to "hoss" from Bonanza. It was a marketing idea by Chevrolet at the time to give away cars to high profile stars.

Just dug up an old adv. circa 1976-78. There was an Z16 for sale in Schaumberg by a Guy named Terry. Does anyone know the Chevelle?
