Rooms at host hotel

The host hotel for the 2001 Supercar Reunion will be the Holiday Inn Collinsville/St. Louis. Phone directly 1-800-551-5133 or 618-345-2800 or via email @ [email protected]. The room rate should be $79.95 + tax, if reserved by August 22, 2001. It is listed under the Super Car Reunion. Any problems, let us know here at the sYc.

Just got off of the phone withe the "nice lady" at the hotel, tried to move my reservation to the blocked room rate. She has no record of the Reunion. She was funny, she read every blocked room group that was to be there. Did you know the IRL was going to be there. There were rooms blocked for other race groups too. Let me know what you find out.

The room situation should be straightened out now. For those of you already with reservations, you can get them changed to the new rate, and new reservations will get the special rate when mentioning the "Supercar Reunion". If you encounter ANY PROBLEMS, ask for "Denise N. Pieper"...she is the director of sales, and who we have been dealing with.
