We have put together a tentative schedule for the upcoming reunion. On Friday, the 20th, early arrivals can gather in the Holiday Inn parking lot for a quick peek at some of the cars. Friday evening, inside the hotel, will be a special presentation by Tom Stephani, son of one of the co-founders of Nickey Chevrolet. Saturday, the 21st, will be the indoor show for supercars and related memorabilia. Saturday evening will be a "supercruise". Sunday, the 22nd, we will travel to Mid America Raceway, Wentzville, MO, to race and show the cars. Time trails 9:00am-noon, final "exhibition" run at 1:00pm. Tom

Is the drag strip the same one as the 2000 show? Will the racing be only the Supercars or is it open bracket racing as well? Looking forward to a great weekend!

No, this is not the same track as we raced at in 2001. That was Gateway, which is booked by a private group that weekend. MAR is an older track located near Wentzille, MO, which is about 45 miles W of Colllinsville, (the opposite side of St. Louis). It is an older track, in fact it was once an AHRA track, where the likes of Dickie Harrell and Fred Gibb raced. As in the past, we will be part of the regular racing program, with our own class. Strictly FRIENDLY heads up racing with no bracket, ladder or awards. This class wil be divided into 3 smaller classes, 1. racecars, 2. supercars and 3. other musclecars (old and new). Anyone racing in this class will be allowed to make 2-3 passes during time trials (9am-noon) and then at about 1:00pm the class will make one more exhibition pass. Of course anyone may enter their car in one of the other classes if they would rather race competitively. In addition to the racing, we will be having an informal car show. Any and all musclecars are welcome.

Which track was used at the show 2 years ago?

Two years ago, when the reunion was being held in Springfield, MO, we went to Ozark Int. Raceway, located about 30 miles outside of town in nearby Rogersville, MO.
