To save those interested some time and phone calls, I believe this is Mark Timken's "project" '68. It's the real deal, and the motor & trans are rebuilt, but, it does need total restoration. The asking price is $90,000.

After a $40K or so resto would this car be worth $130K?? I am not familiar with values of the 68 BM Camaros. Are these cars bringing those $$'s??

Nope! I should add that I am not interested at those numbers.

$140,000 for this car when finished?? If I had the money I would buy it. Mark said there was only 6-7 '68 B/M Camaro's made and his was the only one that existed. Makes it pretty rare in my book.

I called Mark on this car; very nice guy on the phone. I hope he comes out okay on it. I would like to own a car like this as well. And a car is always worth whatever you can get for it. My personal opinion was that I couldn't justify it for myself.

This past summer I looked at a 1969 Motion Chevelle that was for sale with no engine or trans and needed complete resto. The owner had a letter from Joel varifying the vin. no. I was told the Chevelle sold for 55k.

I think a friend of Charley Lillard bought the '69 Motion Chevelle that was on Ebay and I think the price was closer to $45K. It was documented through Joel, but I do not believe it was documented as a Phase III car. Charley, please correct me if I am mistaken.

COPO, I'm Restoring this B/M Chevelle, and has been Stated by Joel, as a Phase III, he even told me, without footing the money. He also sent a drawling of how the stripes were, on this Black Motion. I also have the letter, with build sheet. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

The car was bought for less then $55K,and as we are restoring it, in hope, it will be ready for the SuperCar Show, next year. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I'm Leaving that to my Client. I just needed info, to make sure, in all possibilities, when painted, it would represent the car as it was, when it left Joel and Baldwin Motor Company. Also the Chevelle was bought with the Motor and trans. Need the Tac and cable, anyone got one? Mike http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
