Bear with me on this.I'm a body man not a camaro entuisiast.I purchased a 1969 ss camaro that has been sitting for years in a fertilizer barn. I am rebuilding it it had 5 coats of paint on it.I was using stripper on the hood when I noticed it had a arrow painted on the nose.Looking thru some old books I see a yenko had this,The car is a big block 4 speed.it has old sw gauges and a factory reset gm tach.heavy duty leafs, and a factory drive shaft snupper on a light weight drive shaftCAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I HAVE,Plate om fire wall 12437
nor 27119 bdy x66 st 69 It looks to be and original motor. high rise ,holley, headers
What's the VIN number on the subject car?
You should tell us the VIN#.It can help more.I am not saying this car is a real Yenko or not,but someone could have switched hoods with a Yenko,or added them on.
Yenko stripes were decals but if you post the vin and complete trim tag more info can be provided. X66 is good to have.

It would appear that the body number is way to high to be in the Yenko run on X66 cars. 202 is more like it. No factory tachs in Yenko's that early. sounds like a real 396 for sure..BKH

Could you also repost all the tag info including build date and colors? The NOR # should have 6 digits.

Take a look at the radiator is the top outlet curved or straight?(if the car is as original as stated this could be a dec This could be a good indicator.) Also get the stamped code on the engine pad under the alternator.
