Canadian Only SS rims?

I recently found some AO & YA coded SS 14X7 rims at Jefferson this weekend.
I noticed some of them have a different stamping characters and while cleaning them up I see "Made In Canada" stamped inside,where the tire seals.Do any of you guys from the Great White North have these on your Canadian built cars?
I am wondering if they were only found on Canadian built cars,or if they knew no boundaries?

70 check the plant code K-2-9 the 2 designates wheels built in windsor. Tim.

It Shows M 5 9.
Also 10 30 AO next to valve for OCT 30th 1969.
