Looking for recommendations on who to have restore a Holley carb. I want more than just a Cosmetic job. I want it to work right also.

The Holley Custom shop is good. Call Jerry MacNeish too. The Holley shop does Q-Jets too F.Y.I.

Chicago Corvette Supply does a nice job also. They even test it on an engine for no extra charge. The finish they use is the same as the factory.

Those are the best two and there is also Holley carb shop. Just don't send them small pieces such as air cleaner studs, carb studs/nuts, fuel lines, etc. You may not get them back. Also specify needing exact restoration. I got a green choke cam back and my perfect white one was gone???? They took care of it all in the end however.

Does anyone know what buiness name Bob Kunz and Craig Woodruff are associated with?
I looked them up on the Internet without success. I have been trying to get my Holley 3160 restored and have called Holley Custom Shop repeadedly without a callback so I finally wrote them. They responded as to the rebuild and refinishing but could not do dyno-jetting nor install my gear drive injector. I am wondering if either of these gentlemen could do this? Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

Hey Charley, as I posted in an earlier Holley restore/rebuild thread, I had my 4053 List gone through by C&J Engineering in Sante Fe Springs. Functionality and appearance are top notch. The car runs/idles perfectly. Had it recolorized and EVERY piece part was also replaced in their process. When I picked it up, I asked John, "what am I supposed to do with this, put it under glass on a pedestal?" In my opinion, as good as art. But they are not cheap, and they are not (real) fast. Just good. REALLY good (in my opinion). And they are here in SoCal, down by me.

Bob Kunz has done a number of carbs for me. He did the tri-power set up on my 68 435 Corvette.
