I have personally inspected two original owner cars that still have the original Tiger Paw whitewall in the trunk. There is no doubt about the authenticity of the whitewall claim. I only know of one Deuce that is currenty having whitewall tires put on the original Magnums. It will be at Chicago Vette Fest..

Most people feel that the '70 Yenko Novas came with Firestone Wide Oval, white letter tires. But they are sadly mistaken!! The confusion comes from the main Yenko Nova brochure that has 'E70x14 Firestone Wide Oval Tires' listed as standard for the cars.

The '70 Yenko Novas actually arrived at Yenko Chev, (or Hurst Performance), with 'XT' steel wheels, dog caps and 'Whitewall' Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires. In '70 the whitewall was available on the Nova the white letter tires were not, and the COPO's 9010 and 9737 did not replace the factory rubber.

We have a Yenko brochure that has two photos of the '70 Yenko Nova with whitewalls, and a photo taken by the original owner of his car the day he brought it home in WI.

Just when you think something is normal, you find this out!! Look for some correct whitewall tired Yenko Novas to be brought out real soon.
