Hi guys. What do I do with my transmission now that is out? I would like to have the case and extension assembly detailed and the gears inspected. Is there someone I can ship it to? thanks

Jerry was kind enough to do my Powerglide trans case. he said it was difficult. It looks fresh out of Toledo. Send it to him as Muncies are far smaller and he does it quite a bit. www.Z28camaro.com (http://www.Z28camaro.com) Not to mention he races a stick car and knows what he's doing inside the case as well.

What is the reskin process and how much does it cost?

Jerry doesn't say what it is exactly as it's how he makes a living and I can respect that. I think its chemical as there is no lines or overspray. I've had distributor, alternator, and powerglide case done. It does not in my opinion loose any detail and after you install the part it can be wiped clean of greasy finger prints to new again (try that with raw media blasted aluminum).

Yes. Go to www.Z28camaro.com (http://www.Z28camaro.com) and check it out. He has pictures of a GM damaged intake both repaired and reskinned. I spoke with him this afternoon on a pile of stuff I have there and told him to check out this site as we have been mentioning him as of late. He's a real straight shooter and unique in his field. He is also a respected judge that will tell you his thoughts on all he knows about Chevies, Especially if you are a customer of his.
