Fiberglass front/rear bumpers

Any thoughts on fiberglass bumpers Theres a set (67/68)sitting at $79 with just under 2 1/2 hours left for bidding. Was thinking of getting them and painting them body color. Have been told they could be chromed but it would ruin the Vat they were dipped in. Mahalo for any replies

oh well got the pair (new ones by the way)for $112.50 and will have them shipped to a freind in CA since they will only ship them to the lower 48 states /ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif
