I showed that car as being found, just didn't know who owned it. I don't know what dealership it was sold out of, did he get some papers with it to tell which dealer?

Hey, that IS cool! I'm the one that started that post. Its great to see another one survived. Gary, it's too bad you found that car before I did /ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif If you read this, send me an e-mail. I've recently been in touch with some of the people that worked at Bresee in '69. They may be able to give you some info. I'd like to see some pic's if at all possible.

Believe so ,might be a vinyl top car
Has the car been heavily modified? I was told one of the cars (I thought the green one) had it wheel wells cut out for slicks shortly after delivery to the original owner? This may have been common practice back then??

GREAT FIND ON THE YENKO, YOU GOT IT JUST INTIME, A GOOD
FRIEND OF MINE WAS 1 WEEK TO LATE.HE WAS TOLD THAT THE BODY

HE FIND IT. /ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif
copolocater

WELL WHAT DID YOUR FRIEND WANT IT FOR IF IT'S A REBODY?I'LL PASS THAT INFO ON TO THE PRESENT OWNER. HE'LL WANT TO CHECK THAT OUT.IN FACT YOU CAN PROBABLY CALL HIM HERES HIS #704-287-3070
I talked to Gary last week, he can speek for himself on the car, and he probably will, but from what he descibed its a real Yenko with original paint, rearend, interior, etc. He knows the history too. The cars has seen better days but it sounds like real nice find.

Did you even call Gary to get any info.No for some reason you chose to post another post which is your right.Instead of screwing the guy with this post you could have showed some courtesy by calling him to confirm it.You could be right but if your wrong you leave doubt about the authenticaty of the car.Hope one day he can return the favor.

Those are some strong words. I know Gary well, and he has Camaro knowledge. It's not his first picnic. He would know if the body was not original. Rusted is one thing, not original is another. I know the BE is still there...BKH

Feed me!! I would like to see some more info on this car, I ran across one a couple years ago around here, but the owner didnt want to sell at that time and low and behold I contacted him the other week and he had decided to intertain offers. just curious if it the same car? /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

Sure hope you weren't the "you snooze, you lose" guy. I hate when you ask someone about selling a car and make an offer and they so "no", but then they go and sell it to someone else without ever checking back with you.
Ok, you guys really got me confused. Gary, if your reading, please set the record straight.

No Jeff, that would have been great but thats not me this time, the car i'm talking about is a little worse off than i'm ready for acording to the desription over the phone from the owner, really not alot left, I need to get off my _s_ and go look at it in person (ya think), but once I have done this I will pass on any info to help. I'll call him tomorrow and sit it up. Also still curios if this is same one found earlier?

Just looked at this post now, does anyone know for sure this is a rebodied car? is it possible someone could post the cowl tag info and get a little more back ground info before anyone making any final conclusions.
