I bought a set of Yenko wheel cap decals from Brian, that were a white color. At the reunion, I noticed that many decals were silver.
Before anyone gets excited, I trust Brian, I am happy with mine, I have already installed them, I paln to run them forever.
Now my questions, Did Yenko use both styles, or did someone repop the silver ones because they looked great on the wheels.....just not correct, or what? just curious.
I believe Brian's are correct and made from originals. I am not sure where the silver ones came from but they were the ones used before Brian's came out.

At the reunion there were many very clear pictures of the white Yenko crests from original Canonsburg Yenko photographs. I had these made from an original and they are exact in every way. The silver ones were made years ago and nobody has ever shown a actual picture of the silver ones being ever used by Yenko. I think they were just from somebodys imagination...BKH

There is a very clear picture of the rims and centers in one of the magazines I have, if you look closely you will see that Brian's are correct. Why would Yenko go to all the trouble of making special aluminum centers for these few cars, it would have been an extra expense that he did not want.

I bought a set from Brian and they are EXACTLY like the NOS(?) set I had purchased along with other pieces from the estate. No difference, the real deal, the colors are right on....

Back in 1988 I purchased my "chrome" Yenko center cap stickers from Gene Schmidt and they look fine on my car, However, Judging from the experience and research Brian puts into detailing and restoring these cars...I do believe that the ones which are "white" are correct.
