Corvettes are not "supercars" per say as to the way we look at them from a COPO standpoint. They are RPO cars meaning the factory offered them as a regular order to anyone. I on the other hand being a fan of Vettes, look at a few Corvettes from the 60's as supercars in the sense of performance and power. The L88 from 1967-69 is one, and of course the 2-3 ZL1's that were made. Remember the Supercars that we love like Camaros, Chevelles, & Novas engine options and other performance mods originated in the Vettes like the L72 & ZL1, & L88 in Motion cars etc.
The LS-6 engine option originated in the 1970 Chevelle. /ubbthreads/images/icons/laugh.gif
Wouldn't "Baldwin-Motion" corvettes be supercars also? /ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif
I think Kevin S's Baldwin Motion Corvette would certainly be considered a supercar, along with all the other Motion Corvettes.
