I believe he did, and still has three in his collection to include YS001, while Ray has two. Lots of Stingers here in the Midwest.

Congratualations to the Holub Family on their wonderfull accomplishment. What is next a COPO in every color?

Anyone that has ever come in contact with Gary Holub, knows they can say what ever they want about him on line because he is into CARS not computers and he will never read anything you say. Given that, I would like to say he is one of the most unprententious plain ole car freaks you would ever want to hang out with in your garage, (or his). He gave me an overhead picture of the famed 6-pack once and I tell ya it was impressive. Now that he has the whole deal in one place, I for one would like to see a picture of that! /ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif

Like the scene in Field Of Dreams.
Walk into Garys Warehouse full of Yenkos and say,"Is this Canonsburg Pa.?"
He'll say,"No...It's Iowa!" /ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif

1990's - "I wanna be like Mike"
2000 - "I wanna be like Gary"

Indeed a dream come true. Nice job Gary.

Everyone watch what you say, I just called Holub and walked his wife (What a sweetheart)through how to get to this link. Are you reading this Robin? /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif Seriously though, what a feat! I cannot imagine this will be done again. Impressive to say the least! I could, and have, sat in that garage for hours on end, and it never gets boring. I think that is how Logan gets the 5-cent can money! /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif I know Gary is in awe just like the rest of us. You should see his building that houses the mustangs! /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif

Maybe we could all write to the Discovery Channel and have them do a story on Gary and his collection. It is a "discovery" of sorts. Would make for a neat show! /ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif

Any bids for Whos Who for 2003?

I had the pleasure of talking with the Holub's at LaHarpe this year. What a treat to see that Green ZL-1 pull into the tent. Wait a minute, that's Gary standing by the tent pole. Who's driving the car? Mrs. Gary! That guy knows how to treat a lady! (Hope my wife doesn't read this)

Yeah, I think there's a lot of "Gary wannabe's" here, me included.

I hope that if that is YS-99 that Ed went easy on him. That thing was really pretty far gone. I still have some pics. somewhere.

YS100;
I'm not sure what kind of response you were looking for with your post. There are lots of cars that were 'pretty far gone' before they were restored. I didn't read anything into your post, what did I miss?
