Does anyone know what is "correct" for the date codes on wheels are? What I mean is do they all fall in a certain range from the build date of the car and also from each other?
I would think that all five wheels (including the spare) would be real close together. Would they be days apart or within a month? Anyone know?

Any I have seen are usually days apart or the same day. But I'm sure there is always an exception to that .

It's been a while since I looked at them all but I do believe that the 10 or so 1967 Camaro 14x6 DG code rally wheels that I've bought over the years all have the same date code or real close (bought separately at separate times). I think maybe wheels where made in runs ( like maybe one day dedicated to a particular wheels production and then not made again until supplies were low) But I'm not sure.I can't imagine that they were making 20 different kinds of wheels all at the same time each day. I'd guess wheels could go past the 90 day rule.

You are right Pete, the Yenko Nova wheels are always within about 3 days apart. Yenko bought the Magnum 500 wheels from Motorwheel/Kelsey Hayes, so I'd imagine that they batch produced them for him.
