yenkophiles;where there ever Yenko Impala's?67,68 w/427bb
made? I say no, friend says yes. also do you think anyone would be interested in the x-11 Don built for IMSA Spark Plug Challenge series? I know where it is but it would be a project. This is the car pictured in the H.P. V-6 book. it is apart & then some, but I believe owner has log book & most if not all orig. parts.

Yenko was also a Chevy dealer so he most likely sold 427 Impalas but I have not heard of any that were sold with the Yenko stripes. Tell your friend to save the X-11 car. I am sure someone would buy it.

I had mentioned this about a year ago but got no responses. In about 1976 or there abouts, I looked at a '69 Impala with a 425/427 hp and 4-speed. The car did have the Yenko stripes on it. I did not give it too much thought other than the fact that I did not know that Yenko produced any with the stripes. Obviously, anyone could order a '69 Impala with the 425/427 from Don in '69 but I do not know that he ever put stripes on the car. If memory serves me correctly, the car was blue with black interior and was for sale in the local Minnepolis paper and was located in the northern suburbs. Any Minnesota guys remember this one?

Please provide a way for me to contact you regarding the IMSA Camaro.

I believe the X-11 car was a Chevy Citation, not a Camaro. Tom
