My wife told me to make it clear she had nothing to do with this. She said "Don't make me sound like the bad guy". Man am I in the doghouse now!! /ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif Jim

Offer to sell has been rescinded. I got caught up in the heat of the battle and after further consideration and family discussions we decided we enjoy showing and sharing this car too much to let it go. We will be bringing it to the reunion next Aug. This YENKO thing has become too much a part of our lives to get out now!!! /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif Jim

Build date is the 2nd week of March, MSO rec'd 3/26. Shipped 4/23. Paid for by Gates 4/30. Sold by Gates $4381.65 less disc of $281.65 on 6/13. Buyer put $2900 down and financed $1200 over 24 months @ $60.08 per month. Where is that time machine when you really need it?? /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif Jim

I knew he'd crack! Albeit briefly....

Jim's wife, LaDonna, is just a red herring in his story. Jim's an ACCOUNTANT. In a year where most of his clients' portfolios are doing all sorts of terrible things, their beloved cars have suddenly become rapidly appreciating assets, rather than the liabilites he's used to them being. The guy's bound to consider his options....

You know Jim, I see the offer's been pulled, but the crack in your resolve has been shown. I think if one of these fellows brings $150K in a briefcase, y'all are gonna be Camaro-less. If they bring another $50K, maybe even Deuce-less, too. /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif

Well Tom I guess we will just have to wait and see!! LaDonna is not real sure she likes being called a "red herring". Said it sounds kinda fishy!! /ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif Besides we can't let Kevin have the only Yenkos in the NW!! LaDonna said the sell offer was a deal for yesterday and after reconsideration not really something she nor I wanted to do!! /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif Jim
