I know of one Stage II, which was sold new in Mid 1982. MSRP was $17,500.00 for the car.

My dad has what is believed to be Yenko Turbo Z #19. This would be the last Yenko Camaro ever made...BKH

Im assuming there isn't any documentation on vin's and no price range established due to the number produced and the limited number of survivors available to change hands and get a grip on value,am I correct???
I am new to this board but it appears not much info is available,or no one is talking!!
I have seen them exchange for 25k-50k.
Duane,
Your right on the money with "No one is talking" They don't like to discuss vin no. lists...at least not in public.
Just think, how many ZL-1's would be left in the world if Super Chevy never published the Vins??? /ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif
C'mon, just publish some info so we can possibly save a few more Yenko's!!!!
Sorry, just venting.

I have been told that five of the 19 total Built are to have been found. 4 Stage I's and one Stage II.

The white Stage II which I have has "Limited Edition" inserts in the horizontal exterior door handle and it has an aluminum plate with the original owners initials rivited to the front of the shifter console.
Does anyone know if these items were added by Yenko Chevrolet or after the fact?

OK, excuse my ignorance here folks but how would there be more ZL-1's left if Super Chevy hadn't published the VIN list?

Mike;
It's not due to people's unwillingness to discuss VIN's, I don't think anyone has a list of the 19 VIN's to discuss. There has never been a huge demand for these cars, and if someone was actively looking for one it usually didn't take too long to find one.
Whoever is looking for one, try to find Cryspino's (sp?), I think it's in Scranton, PA and was for sale a few years ago on EBAY I think.

Norm, thanks for the way cool list! I reckon I still don't see how Super Chevy running this list could cause there to be less ZL-1's left though...

Here's one of the info packets on the Turbo Z's. They show up occasionally, good info - especially if you have one of the cars.

The Yenko Turbo Z28 info packet which I got from "SuperHigh"
also has Don's Signature, but signed with a Blue Felt tip marker and the 200 production units is crossed off and 70 is written in underneath.
Did Don Sign all the Packets which were mailed out?

A few questions,, who is this Cryspino you quys speak of??Does he have one for sale?? Also do you guys feel that the Turbo Yenko will ever have it's day in the future as a sought after car or will it never see the same sun light that the earlier Yenkos are having shown upon them??

DM Crispino co-wrote "The Illustrated Camaro Recognition Guide Volume I 1967 to 1969" with John R Hooper.
I also found her name connected to the following International Camaro Club web site (I thought ICC was long gone?)

Her name is Donna Crispino. She uses the D.M. because she is a she. Her husband's name is Tom. This may be the car that Holub has...BKH

Does anyone know if there were special order numbers used by Yenko to purchase the 81 Camaros used to make the Turbo Z. Maybe a COPO option or heavy duty. The option number may be something like "9C1." This example was special order number used to order Police package Novas in late 70s.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Kim Mason?
Not sure if he is on this forum or not.
Need to inquire about a 1981 Yenko.
If so, please PM me.
Thanks
