Prices on LS6's

Did anyone happen to notice that a '70 Chevelle LS6 was bid up to $190,000 at the Kruse Auction in Dallas TX on Nov 23rd?

Wow... the funny thing is the car didnt even sell. I guess it would take over $200k to buy the car. Is a '70 Chevelle really worth $200k?

Thats the Dick Bridges Convt. that sold for 172K in Az. in Jan. 2002.Check out Kruse.com (http://Kruse.com)That is the one that raised the bar and brought out a few others from under the rocks.It was talked about on many B/B last year.I for one would not pay that,but it is apparent others will/or would on a good day.That Chevelle is dialed in,not an ordinary resto,but done to the highest caliber.I would think Mickey Hale knows the car well. As far as if any 1970 Chevelle LS-6 is worth 200k,there is the 28 mile Red/Black survior at B/J next month.Was asking 295K in Dupont Registry earlier.

I believe that was the LS6 which was at www.worldwidemusclecars.com (http://www.worldwidemusclecars.com) which has since been sold.

The one for $295,000.00 asking price that you mention Rick is the Hard top which belongs to Bob-Red Alert's freind and discussed previously.

------I run on sometimes and I may have inadvertently confused you,but owner of the 20 mile car is not named Bob.I will not mention his name on the board as Im unsure if he wants the notoriety just yet.I dont think he is a poster here or anything either as I havent seen anything that looks like his style........Bill S......ol red!

------P.S.Also just noticed that somone said the 20 mile car will be at BJ.Not so,as it will be at Russo and Steele along with my car,Red Alert!
