Sounds like a Z28 that had Brakes and a crossram added to it. Alot of stuff in his description is just dribble that he cut and pasted from somewhere that has nothing to do with the car. Great pics.

What is a RS/Z-28/XRAM???
Listed as a all original car. What knuckle head would take an original car have it painted
Cortez silver just for a video then repaint it back to dusk blue after the video was done
No way would I do that . Was painted stripes only available with a 4/speed car? /ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif he goes and on
About how rare his car is I know that I donĂt know as much as the members here
On this site but what is a xram-car

Lets see the stirpes could be with a Camaro but didnt not have to be a 4 Speed, he should have left that fact for it being a Z28, but then any Camaro owner already knew that. As for it was to go to the Barrett Jackson auction and he wanted to try to say his buddy the 10%, had it been a real deal car the Barrett Jackson auction would have gotten far more than an E-bay auction even after the 10% was subtracted.
On a last note, Never seen a RS of any model that had REAR WASHERS, Front headlight washers YES but REAR ONES!!!!!!

Jeff I agree about not having shown at the Barrett Jackson auction
If it is a real rare car why not show it He does not even post any
Pictures Can you believe that eight people have put a bid on a
Car site unseen As for me I would want to see the car it might up a rust bucket
The problem he made was to mention the barrett/Jackson and
with no pictures make me think itĂs a car built up with words /ubbthreads/images/icons/crazy.gif

Norm, The XRAM is just short for Cross Ram, which in this case was added after the car was built, I think this guy is relying on the movie exposure for his belief of the cars value, in which case he should have left it silver as in the movie, if it is the car from the movie. I agree with an earlier post here that he was going on and on from a book outlining RPO codes. Appears to be a nice car, but $69,000.00? The Barrett Jackson story sounds thin, but in a world where truck seat covers are selling for $750.00, who knows, eh Charlie? Photos of the car at:

If this guy is able to pull this one off i have to seriously think of shipping my Z to the US.
I have a complete Crossram intake, and a fiberglass hood for it. And i have a service package JL8 axle that i could purchase anytime i want.
I think that would make my car just abt, the same car. It has the RS option but only with front headlight washers /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif ...

If that is the same car from the movie it has changed. That car was not an RS, and I'm pretty sure it did not have a vinyl top. Wes

I just happened to see the film late night a couple of weeks ago and have to agree. No RS and no vinyl on a Cortez silver body in the film.

Matt Thanks for the xram question /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif I have been working on cars since I was 15 now 50
And I am still learning I see the car is now up to 30,100.00 I thought 69,000 was high but it might go higher /ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif

Still a nice looking car....probably a ball to drive...its looks like its bid to around what it may be worth right now for a neat driver.
