I sold this Avelate conversion '02 Z06 Corvette last May with 1,200 orig. miles. I noticed in December '02 duPont Registry that it was for sale and headed to the B-J Scottsdale Auction. Nice car and all, but a little tooooo EURO for my style. If you find yourself tempted at the auction, PM me for additional information.

HA!!! Even worse...I had it built that way [although I gave "Avelate" some poetic license]! You'll notice in the Corvette Magazine article that I asked them not to use my name. Plus, give me a break...I got it in January and sold it in May. Give me 4 @ side, then give me all the crap you got! /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif

I like it. Does it come with the Gold Chains I could use a few new ones.

Wonder which engine that racy looking Yellow C5 at the bottom of the cover uses for motivation?

The front looks like a Trans Am. The interior is hideous, but not as bad as the '98 Pace Car Clown Car interior.

I admit to picking the paint color and I insisted on the split rear window [and, of course, I supplied the new factory Z06 Corvette]. As for the interior, that was 100% selected by Dean Arnold, of Avelate Automotive. The body conversion lines and shape are 100% the creation of his partner, Don Johnson. http://avelate.com/53Corvette.html
