Need a set of Stahl or similar vintage 409 Chevy headers...I'm heading towards day 2 !

Found Stahl....I was hoping I wouldn't have to cut the fenderwell for # 7 & 8 cylinders though...

A guy that lives near me had a 62 409 Bubbletop that had fenderwell headers (with street hookups) installed back in the '60's (car also had the little Ford truck hood scoop, original Honduras maroon paint, interior and other period parts/decals installed in '65-'66 but that's another story). 10 years ago he replaced them and put on stock exhaust manifolds and NOS inner fenders. Car has since been sold to Ray Gosnell in Columbus a few years back. Ray may still have the original cut inner fender panels and headers. If you are interested I can get the phone numbers.

Dave if the parts are available its worth a shot..at least i won't have to cut up the ones on the car..
