SIXTIESMUSCLE wild coverted 1974 BLUE/WHITE STRIPE LT-1
Motion even did a few 454 Vegas. You can go from zero to hero by driving your 4cyl Vega into Motion and driving home your 454 tire burner. In 73-74 when musclecars were on downward slope Motion was making his quickest cars. Good insurance rates too if you forgot to tell your agent about the engine swap.

Thats the beast.I found the car in florida stuffed in the corner of a garage.Car was originally out of Texas. It had been a drag car until the guy got transfered to Fla.The car was bought by the administrator of this site partially restored and then sold to Mike.

This is not the right year of Motion Vega, at least it's blue.

BBDon, I kind of wondered about the later model Vega. I'm not nearly as fond of the later style front end as I am of the earlier Camaro-like front end. That article you attached the links to is totally awesome! I printed it out for my collection. Thanks! /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif

Here's something I spotted in Hot Rod magazine, March 1974. The thing that surprised me was the price, 12K was a lot of money in 74. Browsing the same ad pages, you could have bought a Hemi Cuda that month for 2800.
