Posting this add for a fellow entusiast some may already know.

435hp., 427 cu. in. V8 engine, four-speed close ratio manual transmission, four-wheel disc brakes. Wheelbase: 98” Originality is an elusive quality, but one that is well represented within the Corvettes of Mike Yager’s MY Garage collection. Corvettes don’t, as a rule, get left in the garage to wait, largely untouched and pristine, for discovery by future collectors. Corvettes are drivers’ cars and the more power and performance their original owners bought the more likely they are to have been enthusiastically used and enjoyed during their lifetimes. The 1968 Corvette offered here is the exception, a 5,200 mile original, high performance Big Block 1968 Corvette. Mike Yager’s 1968 Corvette coupe is a rare survivor, with only 5,200 miles from new and certified Bloomington Gold in 1996, the year Mike purchased it. That in itself is remarkable enough, but this 1968 Corvette Coupe is equipped with nineteen factory options, headed by the L89 aluminum head L71 427 cubic inch 435 horsepower tri-power engine, one of only 624 sold in 1968 and second only to the legendary L88 full race 427 in power and performance. In addition to its Bloomington Gold certification, This 1968 Corvette Coupe achieved the NCRS Top Flight award in 1997, Duntov Mark of Excellence in 1997 and 4-Star Bowtie award in 1998, meeting the highest standards of the most experienced and demanding Corvette experts. The original window sticker is still affixed to the driver’s door window and it has its original Owner’s Manual, warranty book, AMFM radio instructions and other documentation. The window sticker looks like this: L71 427/435hp Engine L89 Aluminum Cylinder Heads M21 Close Ratio 4-speed Transmission Genuine Leather Seats N11 Off Road Exhaust F41 Special Front and Rear Suspension G81 Positraction K66 Transistor Ignition N40 Power Steering J50 Power Brakes N36 Telescopic Steering Column PT7 White Stripe Tires U69 and U79 AM-FM Stereo Radio A31 Power Windows C50 Rear Window Defroster A82 Headrests P01 Bright Metal Wheel Covers A01 Soft Ray Tinted Glass, all windows Owned by its original purchaser, Bill Davis of Hazard, Kentucky, until about 1980 it was subsequently owned by K.D. James in Houston, Texas and famous big block collector Ray Norvell of Las Vegas, Nevada before becoming part of Mike Yager’s MY Garage at Mid America Designs. Finished in striking Corvette Bronze with Tobacco leather interior, this is a singular high performance Corvette with an impeccable history. $75,000

I've just had the chance to inspect this car. It arrived at the dealership today. It is truly a time capsule that has been collector owned since new. I've been around lots of cars that haven't been preserved correctly, (and I'm sure you all have too !!) this car has been. If anyone has any questions let me know. Feel free to call if you need. 1-800-688-2837. Leave me a voice mail if I'm out. Thanks !!

I saw the car in Houston when KD James had his New Wheels dealership there, I also saw it at Bloomington. It is nice. There was a feature article about the car in Vette or Corvette Fever a few years back, I think it was on the cover of that magazine also.
