Hello,

Anyone notice that the parts books do not have Spring Charts for the 1968 Camaro and Chevy II?

Does anyone have a 1968 Spring Chart for these models?

Thanks,
Greg

Greg, the 68 Camaro assembly manual has them listed in UPC 0 section A9 - A10.5 (numbered pages 11-13). They are not very clear though.................RatPack................

RatPack,

Great! I found it. Now, anyone know if the 68 Chevy II assembly manual has the same chart? That is one manual which I do not have yet.

Kim and bbdon,

Thanks, I ordered the 69 ChevyII assembly manual but the posting helps. Any idea if these charts are available for 69 and 70 in another books. I know they are not in the AM's.

I don't think that Chevy used the spring charts after 68. The sales material mentions their new computer selected springs for 69. The 69 Nova assembly manual that I have is very poor quality. Let me know if yours is any good.

bbdon,

Just making sure. The 69 parts book goes into plenty of detail on how springs were selected. I am building an excel sheet to help with the calculations. My 69 AM is a repop by Millenium Industries just ordered from Wayne few months ago. The quality seems better than the repop 70 AM from 10+ years ago by T/S (looks like the same company). Reproduction technology is better than years ago.

It would be great to get copies of the charts mentioned in the manuals. I am not holding my breath.

OK, Please take a look at this Spring Calculator. It only works in IE right now. Once I get this one correct I can do one for each 69 Nova and Camaro RPO engines. Thanks!
