I usually browse ebay looking to replace my smog equipment among other parts.
This add is currently running.

I don't believe this is the correct pump for '68.
I usually see this part number for '69 and up smog.
I have been told the correct # for me (68z 302)would be 7806686. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks

If you look in Macneish's Definitive book on 67-68, there is a section on AIR. He says 68 302 calls for pump number 7801512.......Tony

1968 Z28 and Big Block pumps which I have seen have a valve on top of the case, which makes them distinct and unique.

That Ebay Smog auction looks identical to a 1973 Corvette pump system I had once. Those brackets and parts are very common after 1972.

Stafano,
You're right. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif I had forgotten about the relief valve. I'm pretty sure everything except the pump is '68.
As luck would have it there's another pump for sale http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2403430456&category=67 55
This looks more like it but the # thing again.
I'd like to buy a more complete unit.
Thanks for any input on the part number.

The high horse air pumps are different because of the relief valve, but I think the brackets are also because of the high rise aluminum intake.
