I don't know what year you are talking about, but for my 69 camaro, I got my fire wall pad from Ricks First Generation and it did not fit very good either. Jack

Just put one in a 67 Pace Car and fit was ...well ok but not great. Also the black backing was a foam pad instead of the original molded rubber/insulation.
Hope this repro will be improved in time.

The "A" body pad that I bought was generic and not remotely like the original, which I ended up using again. Doing a restoration can try a person's patience. These suppliers will only get the message if their shelves are filled with returned parts. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I have been restoring corvettes for 19 years, and the repro parst have come a long way in that time. 8 years ago I did my first camaro and in the past 5 years the F-bodies are almost running 50-50 with the Fiberglass cars. And hopefully with the increased intrest and value in them the resto companies will follow suit and improve the parts.

Enoch, I too have a 67 Pacecar and am east Coast. Email me I'd like to talk some specs with you, Tom Festival78
this is off topic but do you guys have a dash on the trim tag of your 67 pace cars? I have a dash on my 67 Camaro trim tag and am looking for more info on what it was used for. Form what I am told, some pace cars have the dash and some do not?
