This might just be an Illinois thing but I have to ask. As Chicago area residents we have to register our cars with the town we live in by buying a City sticker. This is usually for town revenue and is a sticker that sticks on your front windshield. I am looking for vintage ones as to they usually have a year on them. (they have to be renewed every year) I was a a cruise night in Joliet IL this summer and their was a guy that had a whole book of vintage stickers from the 60's to present. I should have bought some but for whatever reason did not. (most of his were from Joliet) Do any of you Chi-town guys know anybody that sells these stickers for any town? If they don't have Chicago ones I am sure that they know someone that does. I would have posted this in the memrobilia wanted section but I think that I am looking for a person as well as a piece of memrobilia. I am making sure that I get every detail of my "day 2" look down for my Chevelle.

Guys I finally found the guy tonight at the Joliet cruise night! Really cool stuff. They are copys of originals. This guy must have hundreds from all states. Most of them are from Chicago and other area suburbs. I got a 1970 Cicero and a 1971 Berwyn since that is where I am from. Check out the attachment.

The guy has an original for every copy. He won't part with them since he is a collector. I did ask him to locate me originals of some Chicago years but he said they some times get expensive. He just paid $200.00 for a 1967 original Chicago sticker. He had stickers from the 1940's to the 1990's. The Berwyn one had to be the one in the worst condition since he had to actually scrape it off a window. The others look great. I just had to have them to complete my day 2 look. BTW he even had some from Hawaii and Alaska! Attached is his contact info. Copys were only $5.00 and are good quality. He had one for virtually every city or town that I could think of in most desirable years.
