A friend of mine has a 1969 428 Mustang w/shaker hood R code drag pak. It's been sitting in a garage for many years and for the first time I heard him say he is thinking about selling it. Needs complete resto and I think he is beginning to understand he will never do it.

Frank, you are as bad as Stefano. You guys don't hang on to any thing. http://www.ls1.com/forums/images/smilies/werd.gif
You guys probably don't have skid marks in your under shorts. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

I AM DONE WITH E BAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate e-bay. I had some guy e-mailing all the bidders telling them that I am trying to scam them with this car. The jerk said that I am describing the car as an M code Mustang and it is really an H! It is as clear as day in the pic of the door plate that the car is an M code!!! No wonder people do private auctions! I take back anything I ever said about them being shady or bad. It is because the seller just doesn't want to get screwed by some jerk off!!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif

I am absolutely amazed what this car brought! Is their any limit to what people are willing to pay for things now of days?? I am not complaining but am shocked none the less. The Mustang fell victim to E-PAY! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Not bad for a days work.
BTW I couldn't stand the pressure any longer!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Good for you,
Actually I thought it would have gone Higher, It was a decent rig that was all there and not been left out in the weather all this time. If things were a little dff here I wanted it even though it was a Ford /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif.

Frank, seems like that number is real close to what I told you from the get when I was comparing it to the similar situation I had just went through with the CJ I had found lost as yours, then off to Ebay and BOOM, similar results! See now why I said if you didnt get it to let me have a go at the old girl? Good for you, I am glad for it all turned out well for you!

Congrats on the sale Frank /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif Glad to see the high bidder is someone with a substantial eBay history. Lot less chance for problems than with many of the bidders with little or no feedback.
