Nice numbers. How many miles on it when you put it on the dyno?

Sounds like a tough engine, Kevin! Those dyno runs are brutal on young engines. How many times did you run-it-up?

Yea you should see even more ponies when you put a few miles on it(if you do). Did it get dyno'd in Marietta, GA?

I hear that ZL1 number 60 will get Dynoed Today and it should easily surpass the HP numbers you quoted, since Matt installed a throttle stop on yours and he won't take it off till you get a pilots licence /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

DEI (Dale Earnhardt Incorporate) built motor? First time I've heard of that with GMMG cars.
Explain please.........

Not DEI. Chuck works for DEI but they are not done there.

Now I hear that the GMMG Camaro ZL1 Super Car #60 puts out over 500 hp at the rear wheels and through the chambered exhuast /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Anybody else find the chambered exhaust a little too loud? Virtually a homing signal for cops. I'm thinking about installing a true duel set-up on mine.

GRB,
Can you believe that your 69th post was questioning chambered exhaust ? I think that in itself is a little message to you that you need to keep the chambered exhaust. I have had a couple of people over the years think at first it was a little loud but to this day have not had anybody change it.Maybe give it a little time and it will grow
on you ! Take Care.
I'm not saying I don't like it. It's a cop magnet. Also, when we install the long tubes and C5R 427 next month I would think it's going to be even louder. One thing for sure: we will dyno it with and without the chambered exhaust.

I've got FLP long tubes on my phase 2 Berger going through FLP flanged bullets then through the chambers. With the straight off road pipe, I didn't like the sound at around 2200-2500rpm. With the straight throught mufflers the sound is awesome to say the least, I've gotten tons of compliments!

If anyone doesn't like their chambered exhaust, I'll buy it for a reasonable price. I'am looking to upgrade my Y2K SS system.
I'm going to keep all the original parts. Just want to quieten it down a tad.
