I am starting to build a modern day muscle car. I have gotten a blessing from Mr. Joel Rosen of Baldwin-Motion fame to do a 21st century muscle car with the Phase III paint scheme. The photoshop pictures are below. This car will have 500hp and feature a 4.10 12-bolt rear end, Bilstein suspension, custom built sidepipes, American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and all the other race goodies. So let me know what you think about this concept.

I like it a lot. Nicely done, tasteful. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

What kind of price range are you guessing at? I like everything except the rear black out look. I feel our 4th gen camaros have to large a butt for all that black. I love the idea of a side exhaust. I always thought it would be cool to have after seeing a few mustangs around town sporting the side exhaust.
Do you have an eta on the 1st prototype or are you waiting for an investor to help get things started?

I would be interested in building these as a limited production run but that was not my original intent. I just wanted to build something that is different and special. I am have a started another new business and I was just building it for a business mascot. I will be done with the outside in a few weeks. I am buying the wheels this week and painting it probably in a few weeks. But that is where my money stops. If my business picks up I may be able to finish it but my hope was to have an investor or people in the business world donate parts in exchange for advertising if I get it into magazines. So that is where I am at.

Good luck with the new business and with the car. I would be interested in seeing pics of it once you finished. Keep us updated.

Thanks for all the comments. I just added up a ballpark figure I came up with an option price of about $21,000. That is with a hot engine set up, Brembo, Leather interior upgrade and much more. It is on the pricey side for most people but compared to the other aftermarket cars out there it is a bargain.

I have been working on setting up an option for the soon to be released GTO. I have a great name for the car along the lines of "The Judge". Anyway I was thinking about making options that weren't so much money. So I transfered that info over to what I am doing for the Camaro and this is what I have come up with.

-Cat-back exhaust
-Airbox with K&N

Sounds expensive, for the stage 1 you need more power for that kind of money.
