Is that 'SixtiesMuscle's former Black L78 rag top you have for sale?
If you can document the original'67 Nova with a 350/350 I'll take it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Sounds like one cool collection.

Stefano,
You have mail coming through, it will take a bit as it is a ZIP file with photos of both Chevelles and docs. I dont have pics of the Nova yet, soon, the car is a gennie, I am sure you have seen it in past Hot Rod magazines, I cant remember off the top of my head but I believe it has hundreds of miles, not thousands. I will have more info on it tommorow. Give me a ring if you want.

If my memerory is correct my buddy Jim owned this car before Bill.Very nice car,was ordered without stripes or they were removed before delivery. The first owner thought it looked to "racey"....Nice car! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif Heres a shot with my buddys 70 L-78....

Better color....trunk jam, note weatherstrip...Talked to Jim,it's the same car.It came from Mckeesport Pa. and was part of an pair bought by the first owner. His other car was a LS-6 that ended up in Chicago just before Jim bought this one. This car has a TON of paperwork.Thee factory tires were even put back on this car....
Steve
Ahh.. OK Steve, I see now.
Your Pix show Black Stripes, but I thought they were removed upon Delivery?
Do you know anything at all about the LS6 paired up with this one that you referred to?
Color,options,owner name?
Dennis C. this may be "THAT" LS6???

The first owner reapplied the stripes in the mid to late 90's....The dealer paperwork has a notation to remove the stripes.Long story.I don't have much more info on the LS-6 right now.I do know that it was in as nice or better condition than this Astro Blue car....I'll find out,Jim talked with the owner at length while he had the 70.

Motown,
Did you mean to say the '67 Nova SS has a 327/350 (L79)? Only Camaros were equipped with 350's in 1967, and they were rated at 295 hp..

Yep, that's what I meant. I don't have any info on the car though, just that it is supposedly an original owner.

Just one more clairification on the 67 Nova... Is it an L-79 and would that not be a 327/375 engine? Kevin

The L-79 was a 327-350Hp with hydraulic lifters. Supposedly they made only 5-7 of these cars in 1967 and there has been a couple documented. They received the open element air cleaner instead of the dual snorkel, cast iron intake and possible a rochester quadrajet instead of the holley. Some one may want to jump in on this because I may have some of the facts wrong. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif

I think they were rated at 325 for '67.
