Has anybody installed an aftermarket endura front bumper? I want to buy one but not sure if it worth while to pay extra for a used or NOS bumper? The car is a very nice numbers matching 58,000 mile "driver quality" Z/28.

The last NOS Endura I saw on ebay went for over $1500.00. I found a good used one for my car for $200 (I think the price has gone up, since then) Usually used ones need some repair as the cores were not treated and tend to rust under the urethane.
I have no personal experience with the repops, but I have heard they do not fit up too well.

Mine is a repo. I believe I bought it in 1991. I am pretty happy with the way it fits. Here is a front end shot. Nevermind the kid. I can snap close ups and post if you like?

Darren,
Looks like you got a good fit, from the pictures. The repro Endura and repro brackets need a bit of work to fit as good as original pieces.

The repro center brackets do not have the correct bend as provided by the factory and the outside bracket/ bushings tend to push the bumper farther away from the fender than the originals (almost 1/2 inch).

A bit of fitting prior to painting is recommended.

Darren, I appreciate your information about the bumper. I could not pass up a response to your picture without sending one of my own .
