GM LAUNCHES WEBSITE TO SELL PHOTOS . . . GM today is launching a new website to sell museum-quality photographic images to automotive enthusiasts worldwide. The website, located on http://www.gmphotostore.com , offers hundreds of historic and contemporary automotive images from the GM Media Archive. Visitors to the site can select and order quality photographic prints online, in a secure environment, using a credit card. The online orders are processed and prints are received via mail in just a few days. "GM has literally thousands of historical photos and other images, but it has only been recently that we've realized the potential of our image collection and taken steps to market those images to collectors and enthusiasts," said Paula Cardasis, copyright licensing manager, Communications Support Group.
