/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif We'll keep an eye on it for you. Barker is the one to worry about. He uses the line-lock at every stop sign! That is why Murphy puts vaseline on the rear quarters on the Berger cars! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

It will be nice to finally meet you. We will be at the dealership Sat afternoon and evening unloading cars and probably having some refreshments. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif It should be an awesome time. Come early, stay late, thats Murphy's Motto.

Dennis,
Anything you would like me to bring? Cars, motorcycles, Canadian whiskey, wild women, bleach for the burnouts you will be doing in everybody else's ZL-1? Electronic Xmas Tree maybe? How bout some barricades to block off 28th st like we used to do on Woodward way back when? If you think of anything other than the above items, let me know with at least a two hour warning!

OK...Picture this since I didn't have my Camera with me...New ZL1's are being unloaded at 1:30 in the Morning at Berger. There are probably 75 People here including anxious new Owners. Cars are Rumbling, paint schemes are all Cool. The Clock reaches 3:00 am and I'm whining that I'm tired and wanna go to sleep but I'm not gonna let Helen Gibb outlast me. I'm pretty sure she did though as she was still up and Partying when I left. I will try to take some pics today. WOW.... And I wish I Managed a Home Depot.

Hey guys, just got home from the Bergerfest. What a success! Unbelievable day, very touching situation with emotions running high. Helen Gibb autographing all the new ZL-1's. Dennis Barker so excited and overcome with emotion he was choking up trying to talk to the crowd, and at the head of the whole building, guess who had the two cars that were stars, sitting right next to each other, the new and the old #3 ZL-1's, with our guy Charley getting VIP recognition as well he should. I got about 30 pictures guys, I never have tried the attachment thing here cause I am clueless on how to downsize or whatever you have to do, I can put them up on a host page or Email a Zip file to anyone who has a huge mailbox. I got some great ZL-1 Supercar/Berger T-Shirts autographed by Helen Gibb which are like Piccasso's to me. What a great day for this hobby!

Jeff, I recognize that ebay item. It's a prototype for a custom key cover that Berger planned to provide with all 69 Berger prepped Camaros.
That prototype was stolen from Mr Berger's desk in February of 1969, and has not surfaced until now. I can't wait to see what it bids to. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

That is an attractive Camaro!
Mrs. Gibb sure does do alot. She has more energy then most of us.God bless her for attending all these related functions and keeping the spirit going.
