I believe it is Gary's Volpeceli's former COPO which was at the 2002 Reunion. http://www.yenko.net/reunion/Gv02.jpg

Because it's such a sleeper! No spoilers, no fancy wheels, no engine emblems, green/green. My grandfather had a Nova that looked just like that Camaro, only it had a 6 cyl. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Stefano, i think your right. Looks just like the car. Very nice ride. I have been to this auction in the past. There are usually more spectators and few bidders. If it meets reserve, this could be a chance to buy at a lower price than other auctions. Roger

Roger,
The dealer who owns the car is looking for a fair price, to match the quality of the car.

As far as these types of car auctions go there are always more spectators than actual bidders. B/J had something like 170,000 spectators and only a few thousand registered bidders.

The fee scheduel at Mecum is fair and there will be some outstanding cars amungst the 400 or 500 cars Run.

See you there, the beer is on 'Belair62'.

I'm with you, MC...I'm a Chevelle guy at heart, but I dig the color combo of that car. I think it's the green interior that does it for me. I sure wish my fathom green Chevelle came originally with green interior instead of black...:(

You forgot to mention the "burnished brown COPD", as the sign said. Does this release the seller from liability? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif Who will now get stuck with this car... Roger

Don't forget the 5% buyers premium.

The car is going to California. The Person who purchased the car is the same individual who created and built Eleanor (67 Shelby Mustang 'Gone in 60 Seconds')
