Not sure how it was painted, I had a friend send the pics to me.. If the body panels were painted and the windows were transparant vinyl graphics. neat just the same

I have a hunch this was all done in vinyl graphics. This has become very common as a very inexpensive substitute for painting. I first remember these being uses as camo add ons for duck hunters trucks over 15 years ago. When you were done hunting, you just pealed them off and you were on your way.

You know what's wierd...every time they showed footage of the Iraqi officials, it seems like they are either in new Suburbans or Tahoes (or Yukons). After I noticed this, I got to watching for them, and sure enough, they were EVERYWHERE over there.
They seem to enjoy our vehicles, our colleges, and our business, yet they feel we are the enemy. Nice...

Hi all, I just got back from Baghdad 3 days ago and I can vouch for the Suburbans & Yukons except for one thing.... "we" are now driving them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif I'm now in Kuwait awaiting my plane trip home in the next few weeks and wanted to check out this site again for the first time in a long while. I like that Surburban - would've liked it better on the convoy North than my Humvee that blew a transfer case seal in a town with 900 known resident Fedayeen soldiers. (*nerve-wracking*) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif Anyway, I love keeping up with what's going on in this forum and I have already seen many great threads tonight, as usual. There are no supercars in Iraq, and with the exception of one broken down Trans Am I saw on the highway here in Kuwait, no "real" cars to speak of here either. I miss the U.S. of A.! I need to get home so I can drive something "fast" and "not diesel"!

that's called shrink-wrap,it's commonly used on large box trucks for product advertisement or company logo.it is put on like a window vinyl decal but uses heat to apply the panels over the entire surface of the vehicle.the heat from a heat gun will shrink the vinyl and it will mold over any shape it covers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
