68ss396,
I took a set of horns off a 69 impala today. The car had a 02D build date.Horns are 291 292 dated 9A5 on both. The relay was white plastic. It is still on the car.If you want it,let me know.I will get it on my next visit to junkyard heaven.Earl

Easy there 69ss396! You are lucky somebody found humour in your short post with 6 mispelled words /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If we're going to argue on this board, let's make it over something worthwhile - like % of gloss on black paint or something!

most of the errors were typos, eitherway, i do believe it was uncalled for.

yup, i am going with white... another question, what decided if a 69 camaro got 1 horn or 2? or did they all get 2? was it an option?

Frank is too young to remember combat boots...and anyway I think he is putting fart pipes on his Chevelle.

It is my observations that the clear or white color bases are on early cars @ to Feb, then the black base relays take over...BKH

I agree with Brian. The plastic base on my brother's unmolested L78 is white. Jan. build date.
